FEI Offense Ratings (OFEI) are opponent-adjusted possession efficiency data representing the scoring advantage per non-garbage possession an offense would expect to have on a neutral field against an average opponent defense. Opponent defense adjustment (ODA) represents the relative strength of opponent defenses faced. Unadjusted efficiency ratings — possession efficiency (OVE), points per drive (OPD), available yards percentage (OAY), yards per play (OPP), drive success rate (OSR), touchdown rate (OTD), first down rate (OFD), and busted drive rate (OBD) — are calculated from the results of non-garbage, regulation drives in FBS vs. FBS games.
